How are AI impact scores calculated?

Scores are based on published research analysing which job tasks can be automated or augmented by current AI capabilities. I assess task-level exposure across each role. A higher score means more of your daily tasks may change — it doesn't necessarily mean job loss.

What does a high impact score mean?

A high score means more of your daily tasks may be affected by AI — but this often means your work will evolve rather than disappear. The App shows exactly which tasks are at risk, which will be enhanced, and which remain uniquely human.

Is my data private?

Yes. All data stays on your device. The App doesn't collect personal information, use analytics, or send any data to external servers. See the full Privacy Policy for details.

Can I use the App offline?

Yes. The App works fully offline. All job data, prompts, and action plans are stored locally on your device. No internet connection is required for any core feature.

What does the premium upgrade include?

Premium is a one-time purchase ($9.99) that unlocks:

How do I restore my premium purchase?

Go to the Profile tab and tap Restore Purchase. This will check your App Store account for a previous premium purchase and restore access if one is found.

How do I request a refund?

Purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase, and follow the refund process.

How do career transitions work?

For each job, the App identifies growing AI-adjacent roles that match your existing skills. Each transition includes a skill overlap analysis, new skills to learn, and curated free courses to help you make the switch.

What is the 30-day action plan?

A structured four-week programme tailored to your job category. Each weekday has a focused task with step-by-step instructions, estimated time, difficulty level, and success criteria. Weekends include reflection prompts. The App tracks your progress with streaks and completion percentages.

How do I turn off notifications?

Go to your device Settings > Notifications > AI Career Checker and toggle notifications off. The App only uses local notifications for action plan reminders — no data is sent externally.

The App isn't working correctly. What should I do?

Try the following:

• Close and reopen the App
• Restart your device
• Check for App updates in the App Store
